AGFA XCALIBUR VLF-S 80 Thermal CTP System

The AGFA Xcalibur VLF-S 80 is a professional very large format thermal CTP system developed to meet the needs of commercial and packaging printers working with oversized plates. Manufactured by Agfa Graphics in Belgium, this system is known for its durability, accuracy, and stable long-term performance.

Equipped with thermal imaging technology, the machine supports plate thicknesses from 0.2 to 0.5 mm and offers resolutions of 1200 dpi and 2400 dpi, ensuring sharp dots and excellent image reproduction. With a production speed of up to 14 plates per hour, it is suitable for medium to high production environments.

The system is delivered complete with a Plurimetal PND 150 plate processor, integrated plate stacker, and a Becker vacuum pump (manufactured in 2007), providing a complete and efficient plate handling workflow. The machine has processed approximately 200,000 sheets and is supplied without RIP software, allowing flexibility for integration with existing prepress workflows.
