KBA Planeta 104-5 L Varimat Offset Printing Machine – 1992

The KBA Planeta 104-5 L Varimat (1992) is a large-format 5-color offset press engineered for commercial printing and carton packaging production. With a maximum sheet size of 1040 × 720 mm and printing area of 1020 × 710 mm, it delivers high productivity and versatility.

The machine is equipped with a coating unit and Eltosch hot air / IR drying tower, enabling efficient inline varnishing and fast drying for coated applications. The Varicontrol ink control system ensures precise axial and circumferential cylinder adjustment with job memory registration.

Additional systems such as Varidamp dampening, Baldwin blanket washer, Baldwin dampening system, ELTEX/Weko anti-static and anti-rejection device, and Non-stop feeder enhance print stability and production efficiency.

Supporting paper thickness from 0.04 mm up to 0.8 mm and paper weights between 60 and 600 gsm, this machine is suitable for both fine commercial work and carton board applications.
