The Komori GL 640 H+C (2017) is a modern sheetfed offset printing press engineered for high productivity and superior print quality. Built on Komori’s advanced Lithrone platform, the press combines sophisticated automation, precise color management, and high-speed production capabilities for professional commercial printing operations.

The press is equipped with the PQC-S console, allowing remote adjustment of ink fountains and register control through Komori Intelligent Densitometer (KID) systems. The PDC-SX inline spectrophotometer continuously monitors color density and print quality during production, ensuring consistent and accurate color reproduction.

The KMS-AI digital management system integrates press operations with advanced workflow control, while the PPC 2.3 system supports efficient machine performance monitoring and job management.

Automation features include automatic presetting of sheet size, automatic ink regulation from the console, and the FAPC automatic plate changing system, significantly reducing makeready time. The Komorimatic dampening system combined with the Technotrans Beta.C refrigeration unit maintains stable ink-water balance during long production runs.

The press is equipped with a TRESU AQ/UV coating unit with double washing system, allowing both aqueous and UV varnishing applications. The extended delivery section supports efficient drying and sheet handling.

Advanced drying and curing technologies include Komori H-UV lamps, conventional UV lamps, and IR/Hot Air drying systems, ensuring excellent drying performance for a wide range of printing applications and substrates.

Additional features such as non-stop feeder and delivery systems, Grafix Powder Max powder spray, ionizers, antistatic devices, and suction tape feeder enhance productivity and reliability during high-speed printing operations.
